I am traveling to north carolina and was wondering if anybody could give me suggestions for some beers to pick up on my trip that I can't get here in Ga.
slick is exactly right. The Golden Tee is so good there was I guess the whole reason we went there. The bar we went to was located next to a retirement home so take friends who love to talk to old guys, because me and slick did.

Not sure if you want me to chime in or if you wanted others to speak up...
but here goes...
We've pretty much caught up to NC in availability but the important ones are
Bells
Weyerbacher
Foothills (not sure if they are bottling yet)
Pisgah
Ska Brewing
Some pretty decent others are
Mad River
Lost Coast
Other than that...you can look for some higher ABV stuff from breweries we have here in GA.
Avery makes some nice big beers.
